Ken D. has been awarded as P&S Transportation’s March 2023 Driver of the Month! Ken is a driver out of our Emporia, VA terminal and he regularly performs well on internal audits and reporting. Ken has no missing or incomplete log data for the month of March and he also has a 96.15% on time delivery rate for March. In addition, he has zero scored Drive Cam events in the past 30 days.
Ken’s driver manager Tina had this to say when nominating him, “I would like to nominate Ken Dabney. Ken has been with us since September of 2021 this time but he was previously here from 2008 – 2018. He only took a job change for his family but he came back home to us. Ken is a very hard worker and is always out to make the money. He is willing to tackle any task we give him and help with loads that we have trouble covering. He never turns down a load no matter what the pay is because he trusts his DM to make it up to him on the turn around. Ken always puts safety first. If something doesn’t look right he will call in about it and ask opinions to make sure he is doing it correctly. Ken is a very kind, respectful, upstanding driver and I wish we could have more drivers like him. He delivers on time and if something happens to delay him, he lets me know ahead of time so we can let the customer know.”
