Ronnie T. has been selected as P&S Transportation’s August 2020 Flatbed Driver of the Month!
Ronnie has been a valued driver for P&S since December 2019 and has done an outstanding job during his tenure here. Ronnie has been compliant with the many aspects of the safety department, and among other accomplishments has completed Smith System training, stays current on Drive for Gold training, has a great log audit each month, and recently moved to our Lease Purchase program.
Ronnie’s driver manager, Brandon Guy, has this to say about Ronnie: “I would like to nominate Ronnie T. for flatbed driver of the month. He has been with P&S since December 2019. This driver is one of the first drivers I got to know. He truly appreciates his job and takes satisfaction in the importance of the work he does. It shows in his performance and daily attitude. He understands the importance of safety and takes his time as necessary and understands fundamentally that years of hard work can be lost with not taking the time to do the job right. He is always on time and dependable. He’s early to pick up and usually delivers at the beginning of windows. We have daily discussions about reviewing our performance and ways to increase our productivity.
He is always looking to improve upon what he does and be mindful of things that set a successful driver back. He is easy to work with and expresses willingness to do any load, and best of all, maintains a positive attitude no matter the situation he may get stuck with. Ronnie enjoys his travels and the beautiful scenic places he has been. I appreciate discussing his trips and the places he picks up and delivers to. Best of all, Ronnie is a good family man who expresses his dedication to his wife and children often as a reason he is happy to go to work. It shows in aspect of the quality of his performance and general respect and professionalism in doing a great job for P&S. Ronnie recently became a member of the Lease Purchase program and is proud to be on his way to owning a beautiful truck. I can’t think of a more deserving driver to represent P&S and receive Driver of the Month than Ronnie T.”
