P&S Transportation would like to congratulate driver trainer Shawn D. for being awarded as October 2021 Flatbed Driver of the Month!
Shawn has been with P&S since November of 2020. Shawn started in our Training Program and has empowered himself through knowledge and experience by being on our team ever since. Shawn regularly has a clean internal log audit, and has received only one inspection while driving for us, and it was a clean one! It is clear that Shawn takes pride in doing a great job for us and we are proud to have him on board as a valued driver at P&S Transportation.
Shawn’s driver manager Albert, out of the South Plainfield, NJ terminal, had this to say in nominating him: “When a student driver joins P&S it is difficult to predict the likeliness that they will be successful in their new profession due to a lack of work history in driving. However, in some rare instances, the driver turns out to be a natural. Even rarer, some student drivers are willing to make huge sacrifices, while taking advice from grizzled veteran drivers such as Ray H. This is precisely what Shawn has done. If Shawn were a college football player, he would be the equivalent of a free agent. Sometimes free agents make it big and pleasantly surprise us. Shawn is a natural and a pleasure to work with. He knows how P&S has changed his life for the better so he’s become a good will ambassador for P&S. I’m sure that every driver manager has select drivers they feel blessed to work with. That’s how I feel about Shawn, and that’s why I’m nominating him for the recognition he deserves as Driver of the Month.”
